Lower-thirds, sidebars, and infobar templates

You can find lower-thirds. info bars, and side-bars under the "Templates" dropdown.



The best use for them is to download them with a transparent background and use them in your videos.


Here's how:


First, edit the graphics as you want, just like any other template.



Second. hide the layer at the bottom (BG Image) by clicking on the "eye" icon.


 

By doing that, you'll end up with a graphic with a transparent background like this:



Now, click on the "Download" button on the left menu.



And finally, select the "Download PNG" option to download the image to your computer.



Now all you have to do is import the PNG image into your video editing software.



This process depends on what software you use but, usually is just as simple as drag and drop.


Optionally, you can apply in-out transitions and/or animations to the graphic if your editor has the necessary option (most have).



The types of transitions and animations you can apply, and how to do it, depends totally on the software you use, so it goes beyond the scope of this tutorial.
